Bio
Born in a small east Texas town on 10 March, 1956 I was raised conservative southern baptist. I came as a gay man while at a baptist college. Moved to Austin, Tx in 1978 and loved being a part of my gay community there. Austin is an awsome city and Texas is awsome too. I moved to Los Angeles Dec. 1985 with my second husband and our lover. Our lover went his own way and after 4 years later my husband moved back to Texas to escape his LA crack habit. LOL Guess what followed him to Texas... Yes His Crack habit. I was working doing entry-level accounting jobs at the time and in 1989 I was layed-off. I started cleaning houses and after several months I realized I was not going to strike it rich doing that so I went back to school at age 35 achieving my BA in Psychology in 1995, and Masters in Social Work in 1997. I now complete 11 years of service in the public mental health system and love seeing clients and supervising mental health providers. I spent a lot of time keeping-up my house and spend lots of time with my 3 young children ages 10 (girl), 8 (girl) and 5 (boy). They live with their bixeual mother who has gotten married to a man. There have been many challenges in life that I'm happy to talk about at appropriate times with certain people, but mostly I focus on how good life is today. I'm enjoying meeting new friends in the gay male community via the internet and developing my career as well as those new friendships. Hopefully I'll find a man to be my life partner to share life with. Until then? Well as I said life is good.
This year in June I completed the Aids Life Cycle Ride which was a 575 Mile ride from Sabn Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and raise awaremess around HIV and AIDS. I recommend this to all able-bodied individuals. It was a life changing event. This year 2008-2009 I plan to visit the UK, Poland, and Singapore. That's if all my dreams come true. If I make it to two of those places I'll be happy.
Currently my favorite quote is "Life is like a bicycle; you have to stay in motion to maintain balance." Albert Einstein.
